The Michisakari Houjou Go Nen Jukusei (5-years aged) sake has a mellow aroma and a deep full-bodied sharp aftertaste which is the best dish to enjoy for a long night. It was based on Yujyu deep within the sake brewery, and has been stocked for over 5 years. It is characterized by a deep flavor and accompanied by a mellow aged incense while drying. It gets stronger when poured on the bottle. Product Name: Michisakari Meijyo 5 Years 720ml Origin: Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture Characteristics of the production area: It is located in the Tono region in the southern part of Gifu Prefecture. It uses charged water from the subterranean water of Kasahara River and proper rice that has been selected according to its characteristics such as Miyama Nishiki or Yamada Nishiki. Taste: Dry Manufacturer's History: Established An'ei era (1772 - 1781) Brewery: Michisakari Brewery Features: It is a long-term aged sake that uses 45% polished "Miyama Nishiki" rice and aged for 5 years. While it is dry, it has a mellow and fragrant aroma and deep taste with a calm finish. It has a good sharpness and dryness that gradually smooths down the throat comfortly. The balance between Miyama Nishiki's unique sourness and umami is exquisite and the sharpness unique to Michisakari is really comfortable and will be even more prominent when served warm.
