Product Name: Reisen Jun Gin Yamada Nishiki 1.8L Origin: Yōrō District, Gifu Prefecture Characteristics of the production area: Yoro is famous for its waterfall and is known as a village with great quality waters. During the Nara period, the emperor of the time visited the Yoro Falls and admired the clean water and changed the town's name to "Yoro". The underground stream water pumped up from the basement of the brewery is ultra soft and suitable for brewing ginjo. Using traditional techniques, the alcohol is sprinkled with soft water for an elegant umami taste and soft finish. Taste: Slightly dry and smooth and refreshing Manufacturer's History: Founded on the third year of Bunka (1806) Brewery: Gyokusendo Shuzo Features: It has a soft, clear flavor that is brought about by using high-grade rice. Oyama Nishiki has big grains with a 100% cotyledon germination rate and is characterized by its flavorful umami. It is a junmai ginjo that blends a distinctive range of flavors and a pleasant sour taste. Compared to usual junmai daiginjo made from Yamada Nishiki that has rich aroma of melon, this drink is not too young and not too mature, with traces of bananas and melons. It is very rich with a somewhat rounded flavorful taste. A gentle sweet and fruity taste spreads in the mouth and the sour aftertaste which is characteristic of the Reisen series tightens the taste. Reisen has a modern and refined flavor by using Oyama Nishiki rice for a tasty finish. Suitable food: Boiled fish, shuto, mackerel in miso
