It is a rice shochu which uses 100% rice cultivated by the brewery. It has a rich fragrance, and rice can be felt. Yeast contributes a lot to the scent and this drink uses "sparkling yeast" developed in Fukushima prefecture. The brewery offers more than twice the ginseng incense of the displayed liquor and the others made by the sake brewery. The rice production is 100% managed by the brewery throughout the country, including sake, and as rice farmers, we are committed to making rice shochu. In addition to the technique of distillation, brewing technology of sake cultivated in Fukushima Prefecture, it produces a taste and smell not found in other rice shochu. It has the scent like sake of Daiginjo which was born by using sake yeast developed in Fukushima prefecture, and is absolutely difficult to copy by other prefectures. This rice shochu is compatible with general Japanese cuisine, but its compatibility with vegetable rice is particularly good, and pairing it with sushi is the best. It also fits well with meat dishes such as "tempura" and "yakitori" which are not usually good with sake. Because it is a distilled spirit, I am also recommending it for people who are health conscious as it does not have sugar or purine. For drinking, this shochu can be drank on the rocks or adding carbonated drink, but it is also a great shochu to be enjoyed various ways such as "Tomato Hai" diluted by Nango Tomato Juice, a local special product.
