○ Origin ○ Chieko was a Western-style painter and the wife of the poet and sculptor Kōtarō Takamura. She was born in the former Adachi town in her parent's house where they brewed the sake "Hanakasumi." It is called "Chieko no Hanakasumi." This sake that was made in the birthplace of Chieko is now manufactured by Daitengu Shuzo. About <Chieko's no Hanakasumi> ◆ Alcohol frequency: 15.5 degrees ◆ Sake Meter Value: ◆ Raw materials: rice (domestic), rice koji (domestic) Slightly dry type with a gentle and generous aroma with comfortable balance of soft sweetness and refreshing acidity. Recommended dishes: It fits well with dishes that bring out the taste of white meat such as fish and chicken. Chieko Takamura (Reference: Wikipedia) Career: Born May 20, 1886, in the sake Adachi town (now Nihonmatsu City) in Fukushima Prefecture, Chieko was the eldest of six daughters and two sons of Kesakichi Saitō (later adopted into the Naganuma family and became Kesakichi Naganuma). The family register name is "Chiwe". The Naganuma family was the brewer of the sake "Hanakasumi" and was wealthy. Chieko Memorial Hall: The house of Chieko Takamura, which was a sake brewery, is restored and there is the Chieko Memorial Museum in the backyard. Her oil paintings and paper paintings are displayed at the memorial hall. This sake that was made in the birthplace of Chieko is now manufacture by Daitengu Shuzo.
